A good story line. Outstanding performances by Denzel And Voila. Uplifting and funny. A must see!

Both Denzel Washington and Viola Davis gave wonderful, Oscar-worthy performances.

Fantastic acting. A bit too close to the broadway play in terms of way-too-long speechifying! Film is almost 2 1/2 hours long -- with judicious editing, and fewer long tirades, it would've been better at 2 hours. Still, a good story. Denzel Washington and Viola Davis are fantastic.

Loved it! There were a couple things didn't think they should've used the "N word as much, felt like for it to be 2hrs + some of the things should have been explained more or shown key things like Denzel's characters death and seeing the woman he was cheating with we spent so much time listening to him talk and carry around alcohol but didn't go to other key things, I love Denzel & his movies tho.
