Very good movie. Exciting and comical at times.

I am glad that there was more backstory to the characters and it was an interesting spin on a childhood favorite. Trini and Zack felt like minor side characters. The end felt rushed and you didn't get to really enjoy the characters after they morphed. I was disappointed that the visors disappeared from the mask as well as the look/design of Megazord. I liked the first half of the film.

Just enough nods to the original, but delivers a new story. Campy at times, but hey, that's the nature of the beast. This newest idaration of Power Rangers is respectful of the show but provides a cinematic experience. At the end of the day, it's just a fun movie! And, there's nothing wrong with that. Would have preferred Rita's attire to have been closer to the show but reimagined. Cone boobs???

I thought the story line of the movie was a bit cheesy but the kids in the theater seemed to like it. There was only a few times when it brought back flashbacks of the old school Power Rangers I grew up with and that was not appealing to me. Overall I enjoyed the corny action of the movie and that's probably what kept it alive.
