We only got to see about half of the movie because of a fire alarm in the building but it wasn't working for me. Very generic in its rom-com-ness. Wasn't feeling any chemistry between the intendeds. I assume they weren't going to let us back in after the alarm was handled so I just went home. I won't be able to catch the end of the movie either because I cancelled my Prime in January.

Cliche piled onto cliche. It's one bright spot was showing a freer version on Indian immigrants.

It was a pleasant movie that had some good laughs and categorically in the ilk of My Best Friend's Wedding. The story is relatable regardless of one's ethnicity.

Definitely a fun watch especially for those knowing not much of what’s like attending an Indian wedding.
