The movie was cute. The casting was great and fun, and it was beautifully shot, but the story was not at all original or surprising in any way. There were no subverting of expectations, for example. We all knew she would end up back with her ex, amd that was that. I feel like I’ve seen this movie a hundred times before. And there could’ve been more to enrich the backstory between the two leads, since their chemistry together didn’t really come through. Simone Ashley carried the film, and it was fun, but nothing groundbreaking.

A snoozer - hope won’t be released theatrically. Why was this even made?

Predictable ending. Can't understand some conversations due to accents.

It was lacking depth so it made it hard to attach to the characters. It did have some comedic parts. but I was bored throughout. The music was very good though..
