Great casting (although, they should have cast an Asian for Mindy Park's character!) with standout performances from Damon, Chastain, Ejifors, and Benedict Wong. Entertaining, humorous, and retained the audience's attention. It was no surprise (spoiler alert!!) that their rescue efforts turn out positively but then again, I think the point was all about the ingenuity, process, and human spirit to survive in dire times more than the result.

Thought it was very well done. Even though I expected a happy ending it was told in a dramatic way so as to hold the suspense. Nicely done!

We thought the movie was very good except it seemed a little too long because it seemed to drag on at times.
