While the production values were fine, I did not care for the focus of the story, nor for Jessica Chastain's acting.

read the book, it was better, movie needed more detail in some areas & less in others, thought it was choppy.

The movie was very engaging from beginning to end. It convincingly portrayed a disturbing period of history and how the courage, empathy, caring and ingenuity of the zookeepers brought dignity and hope for the human race in stark contrast to the horrors that were taking place orchestrated also by humans, but heartless humans with no dignity whatsoever. The movie was at once disturbing and touching

Movie was to long, very slow movie line.
