I loved how it was a Canadian movie. It really brought my attention to the matter and how these aboriginals were treated

Was a raw and real look at what the indigenous people of Canada have had to endure. Glad it was balanced with some light hearted moments of hope. Definitely recommend!

This is a powerful and important story. There are many very uncomfortable scenes that made me want to walk out but it is a story we all need to hear and know. My understanding of residential schools and the damage they did, has been expanded. Not a movie I will soon forget!

I loved it! It was so moving. I cried at the end. It was a very sad situation, but at the end everyone will know how wrong it was to take aboriginal children from their families. I was glad Saul healed his broken spirit and returned to his adopted family at the end. I will recommend Indian Horse to my family and friends.
