A very powerful movie. The heartbreaking and honest account of an ugly time in Canada's history. All Canadians need to see this and begin the process of reconciliation and encourage more understanding and love towards our indigenous people.

I think it's a film everyone should see. I got a much better understanding of the effects the residential school system had on the indiginous youth.. Both my husband and I enjoyed it and thought it was well done.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I have read the book prior to watching this. I feel that the script writers have done justice to the book. I liked the casting and the screenplay. Its really difficult to limit the content of the book to 2.5 hours, however, the script writers have done an awesome job of not losing the essence of the story. The casting is perfect. All the characters are life like.
