I thought it was great! The story added so much depth to the character of President Snow and set up the foundation for his eventual obsession with Katniss. Though I did think that they leaned too heavily on the retro, 1950’s aesthetic— yes, it did take place 64 years before the first Hunger Games movie, but it still takes place a couple hundred years in the future.

It was a good movie, but the ending did kind of drag on a bit. From what I gathered, snow is the way he is because of a heartbreak? I feel like we were able to see his story, but weren't really able to delve into his mind or thought process.

Great movie, it showed a lot of where things came from and for sure took a turn I didnt expect. I would watch it again

It was a very well done movie. The pacing was perfect even though it was over 2.5 hours. I enjoyed being able to witness the progression of Snow turn from Capitol student to villain. You understand why he is the way he is now. There is also room for more of the story if the author decides to write another book. The cast carried the weight of the story, and I was surprised by their talent. Please make a sequel!
