I really liked the movie, especially the first half. I didn't care for the 2nd half story line, though that was necessarily to understand how he became the person he did.

Great combination of action and romance!

reaches some of the highs of catching fire, and unfortunately some of the lows of the mockingjay films. slightly brought down by its third act, but those first two!!!!! whew!!!! francis’ direction truly shines during the games. everyone turns in great performances but rachel zegler is on an entirely different level. and that VOICE… see this in the biggest theater with the loudest speakers possible.

The cast was great, although I felt like the first part of the movies was extremely rushed and for sake of time they piled on a lot of information that to someone who is watching it without any prior knowledge makes no sense. The on screen romance and chemistry between Corio and Lucy feels rushed. Corio's character needs more depth his evolution from the hero we want to see succeed into the villain we later know was weak.
