I really enjoyed the film. I do wish they would have developed / shared more conversations between Victoria and Abdul. The scene where they were at the summer home and Victoria was sharing about being lonely was especially moving. they may have wanted the movie to be more light-hearted and not a heavy period movie. Either way I thoroughly enjoyed it and it left me wanting to see more of it.thank you.

In this film, Queen Victoria played by Judi Dench encounters an Indian clerk named Abdul Kareem. The film is about their friendship as he becomes her "munshi" teaching her undu and the koran. In the role of Queen Victoria, Judi Dench has made her engaging, relatable and human.I would highly recommend this film.
