Historical events but to draggy of a movie with no no plot

the movie was a little slow and not enough action, and it was over 2 hours - which i think should be shorter like 2 hrs. the spiritual part was okay. the storyline was okay. just OKAY. ....

The movie was too long! They need to edit the movie and cut it, so it doesn't have redundant parts. People in the movie theater lost interest and walked off. There was something missing that lacked connection with the viewer and the story they were trying to tell. Too many people tortured, but no character development so the audience could develop empathy for that character.
