This film was well done. It was also heavy.

Very thought provoking moving. Interesting concepts, dialog and theme

This was a solid timepiece. You really feel like you are observing something from 17th century Japan. Cinematography was classic Scorcese and the writing was just Ok. The performances by Garfield and Driver are enjoyable.
