A good character driven film.

Superb cast who executed August Wilson's play superbly!

I really enjoyed how Denzel Washington capture the essence of August Wilson's play on screen. The film kept you engrossed and I was able to feel each character as an individual. The films metaphors took on personality. My family and I appreciated how each cast member defined their perspective characters.Thank you Mr. Washington for your direction of this film

I believe the movie works better because of the amazing performances. It felt a little too long for me, specially the last 20 minutes.
