Todd Haynes the quintessential Director of impeccable research and perfection capturing the vintage location,wardrobe,and mannerism of the 1950's. Got lost in the film cinematography exquisite.The storyline similar to his other film with Julianne Moore whose husband was Gay the theme did not draw me in as much The acting performace was skilled and and worthy of Oscar nom.

I enjoyed the movie. It was a little slow but the actors were excellent. I enjoyed Cate Blanchett very much and thought Rooney Mara was excellent in a supporting role.

Loved it. Beautiful film with fantastic performances all around.
