It's a two and half hour movie. I felt that it dragged a bit too long. I learnt a few things about Christianity history I Japan. I'm not sure what I had expected Silence movie would be about but for sure I didn't expect it to be about religion.

Story is little slow

A nice histrorical setting and a different plot from your usual holywood movies. I enjoyed the first half of the movie but it soon became long and repetitive. I had a hard time understanding the motives of the characters and rooting for them. It could have been good but it lacks strenght and cohesion, there simply was not enough substance to keep me interested till the end.

Not a believeable event but otherwise a good movie to sit thru
