Great performance by Gary Oldman. I loved the way Winston Churchill was portrayed - like a real man, with doubts and making mistakes - stubborn, but changing his mind when faced with good evidence. It was nice to see a little more of his personality come through - more so than most films about him. And I know it wasn't the focus of the film, but there _was_ a war going on - maybe just a little more background footage showing that, although maybe that was in keeping with the idea that the British people were being kind of shielded from the facts/truth there for awhile.

Excellent movie! Gary Oldman's performance is superb...Best Actor trophy is in the offing!

Great performances

Fascinating view of history. The movie starts out slow but as it progresses it brings you in.
