Great performance by Gary Oldman. Also loved the score, cinematography, arti direction and costumes.

Was really enjoyable. Even though I already knew the outcome of Dunkirk, it was riveting to see what was going on behind the scenes and decisions that lead to Churchill's decisions and speech. It was refreshing to see someone who was principled and who stuck to his ideals when all the War Cabinet was totally against him. Would highly recommend this movie. Gary Oldham deserves an Oscar!

Fantastic movie about the behind the scenes machinations of Winston Churchill's rise to power in the UK at the beginning of World War II. Gary Oldman does an amazing job. I really loved the relationships in the movie. The film did a fantastic job capturing the era. I especially loved the scenes in the Cabinet War Rooms as my husband and I had a chance to visit them when we were in London--great to see wht it must've been like during the war.

Gary Oldman was GREAT as Churchill!!!
