It ran more with the cartoons plotlines and did not even hold a dead match to the original. I loved Micheal Keaton getting more beetlejuicy with age though, that man is unhinged and I love it.

Very fun atmosphere, extraordinary cast, and fun moments. But there's too many plot lines, many of them extraneous (what was the point of JK Simmon's character?). And all of them get resolved in unsatisfying and anticlimactic ways.

I didn't like it.

The storyline was all over the place. I found myself dozing off several times in the movie. This remake was very meh!
