My best critique involves a slight SPOILER. Overall a great film in plot, time jumps (pay attention!) and characters.A line that Ian (Renner) says, in short meeting Louise (Adams) is more important than meeting aliens. And then you realize that some executive at the end of shooting was prob like "hey we need more romance!" and they just threw romance in your face. And kids/being a parent etc.

We truly enjoyed it!

Movie started great, then I became concerned because I started getting really bored about midway thru. Then, BAM, twists and turns and revelations and it ended up being a fantastic movie!!!!!This was not a movie I would pick, went more for my husband. But I ended up loving it!!! Gave it 4 stars for the midway lull

My cousin and I loved it. It's very cerebral, and we're sure not everyone will understand it. The cast was excellent.
