Going in with a preconceived notion that this was going to be another alien action film, it seemed to start off a little slow. Once things started to unfold it became clear that this is no ordinary alien sci-fi film, other than the fact there are aliens involved, there is no comparison. You'll get it, but it may take a little sixth sense to understand. GREAT MOVIE!

It was a little difficult to follow, especially the ending. But it was entertaining and different.

Loved the mystery of this film and the passion of Amy Adams for her craft. The flipping back and forth from Past to Present to Future did confuse me a bit, but it kept the dialogue open for me and my friends.

Almost nothing really happens in this movie but it is still very engaging. Some of the plot mechanisms were handled heavily( we have come to help mankind; get out or we will blow you out of the sky etc)Forest Whitaker is one of the finest actors of our time. Howvet I have to say that his shifting accent made it hard to get immersed in his character (was it Southern, Cajun, Bostonian?)
