Beautiful cinematography enhances this movingly romantic epic filled with great performances, esp. by Carey Mulligan & Michael Sheen, both deserving of Oscar nods, though Sheen would be in a Supporting Actor role. Matthias Schoenaerts was also wonderful as the real Mr. Wonderful. Except for the tinge of melodrama, I loved it all!

Well done romance in beautiful setting with an excellent cast. Sure to please fans of Downton Abbey. A classic period chick flick.
