This movie makes the pandemic not seem so bad! There are way worse ways to die than COVID!

A bit unrealistic but it’s enjoyable as an action movie.

Grading on a curve for a year with few new movies, and even fewer good ones, it was pretty good. However, in most other years, it wouldn't rate above average. I don't expect this one will be remembered after it leaves the theater. It was one of those "end of the worldish" movies that relied on too much luck and happenstance for the main characters, and there were a lot of unrealistic and inconsistent moments. On the plus side though, it kept my attention, had a refreshing mix of both decent people who help in bad situations, and those who are selfish and take advantage. It really stuck out like a sore thumb though that there were so few people of color in the movie but every single one of them was portrayed as being a saint. It didn't affect the movie one way or another as far as the story was concerned but I couldn't help but notice it.
