Loved it. Carol perfectly captured the inner conflict being felt by the characters--the joy of new love and the dread of the disapproval certain to rain down upon them because of the nature of their love. Amazing performances by both actresses.

Great acting, but too slow in parts. Appearance of a gun was like lighting a firecracker which only turned out to be a fizzle. Anticipation for a possible twist, but quickly reverted back to predictable outcome.

It was something different but love it !

The acting is superb as is the recreation of the time period. The film moves a little too slowly and the passion needs to be felt more strongly.
