A thought provoking drama

I was grateful to see my favorite Richard Bachman book make it to the big screen. I was wary about how it would translate, but it did adapt well. The story is very relevant in 2025. I do think it could have hit harder on politics/government & how evil humans can be, but the acting was great. There were a some cheesy lines that were meant to be hopeful but came off as trying too hard. The ending is different from the book, but King's work often needs fine tuning when it comes to endings & i think this one suited the film. Also, the queerness was too subtle!

Very entertaining, very gripping and immersive. Super suspenseful. Great acting and directing.

Fits well into today’s times. Very emotional experience with themes that ring true to life experience and prompt reflection after the movie. Great acting, direction and production
