Saw it with my wife. I'd read the book recently and was NOT disappointed! It had all the parts I wanted to see and even added some which were great!! My wife was skeptical, because she doesn't like "scary movies". However, afterwards she said, "I didn't think I was going to like it, but I'm glad I went because it really was a great movie!" Didn't give it 5☆ simply because I wish they would've fleshed out the very end a little more. I wasn't disappointed per say, just thought it could've been a tad better. That's a personal opinion though. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

I thought it was a moving, brutal, and faithful adaptation of the Stephen King book. The acting was top notch, especially the actors portraying Garraty and McVries. The ending was a tad predictable. I wish they would have kept the novel's conclusion. But that is only a minor gripe. Other than that I was very impressed. Adaptations of King's work can be tricky but they did a nice job with The Long Walk.

Fantastic example of a Stephen King character driven story. His ability to represent the different types of personalities and personas that exist in our every day life.

It’s dark but an important film to watch. There are glimpses of hope and a lot of realism that forces the viewers will resonate with. Overall a solid film with fantastic acting all around
