There were things I really really liked about the film, but I felt as though all the pieces didn't quite fit together. While I appreciated the discussions, I thought they could have been more complex. Altogether, I enjoyed it, and thought it was really promising (no pun intended) for a writer/director's first feature, and I'm excited to see what she comes up with next.

Even though the rating is quiet low I would recommend this because there is a conversation, whether you hated the movie or loved it, I think the conversations on why could be very interesting.

Felt like the perpetrators did not feel the ramifications of their actions.

It's a compelling movie with incredible casting but the ending doesn't stick the landing and it often feels like the romance-drama-comedy-horror combination left it juggling too many balls and dropping a few.
