It was an Armageddon light. After watching Bruce and Ben go save the world, I felt like this was too simple - hide underground for nine months and survive the explosion. It was still decent. The emotions were good, the action sequences were great, the CGI was really good.

it was ok, but pretty unbelievable. why would they not allow the kid on the plane, but allow him and other people into te shelter? how did he get insulin to survive? and why did they not screen gim at the start? and why were't people wearing N95 masks?

Involving enough, the throwback-y “disaster movie” I expected—and wanted, frankly. Butler continues his streak of selling this stuff, and the young lead gave one of the better perfs I’ve seen a kid give in a while. And it was good to see Scott Glenn. (It’s always good to see Scott Glenn, yes.) Thanks for offering up the stream-miere. Just made that up.

Gerard butler is father of the year. seems like theres too much story for two hours of movie. not sure which one of my friend would like this movie. maybe middle aged family out on a date night?
