Hard to watch the abuse, but good film.

The story is very interesting and thought provoking. It’s good to invoke brain activity that is geared more towards pulling at your reliance to fact check then to tug at your emotions alone. Good job.

I appreciated how well this film skillfully negotiated a difficult subject of an emotional time with nuance and intelligence. Really well done.

It was well presented. I liked that the real Slahi was at the end of the film. Even the actor that played him showed a vulnerability that was engaging. It's scary to think it was a witchhunt and no one in the government nor the public in general had any sympathy at all to even think of the process of the law - U.S. law. Unfortunately, the last four years in this country has shown that it can happen again and with greater aggression.
