Well written and acted

In my opinion it's a very good movie to see.. Especially I LOVE the ending of the movie, the guy finally getting the woman's heart back to him who he has love so deeply and silently do everything to her and protecting her, even when she loves someone else but he still behind her without complain.,Just because of his powerful LOVE.. Great ending.. Sorry about my poor opinion..

Although the storyline of this movie wasn't that much layered, I did enjoy the beautiful shots, colors, costumes, music, scenery where the movie was shot in. The leading actress was really good and it was a very romantic feel good movie.

I prefer the 1967 version because of the acting from the original cast members. I do not think Carey Mulligan is a good actress; she is no Julie Christie! Still, I found the movie entertaining because it is a far cry from the type of movies we see these days. Also, the romance story is more appealing than those of Nicholas Sparks.
