Yet another road trip movie with two characters that are complete opposites. As it's dealing with a couple of characters from Mexico, of course there has to be some storyline about U.S. immigration. The American brother is annoying.

It's an entertaining diversion, but not nearly as funny as the movie poster suggests. It's a drama with heart and a predictable ending.

The movie tries to be a comedy and an introspective look at how people treat others; yet, it never really succeeds at either. The reveal at the end (i.e. the identify of ELOISE) was one I worked out almost from the get-go, for the foreshadowing wasn't very subtle. Overall, not a movie I can recommend, nor one I'd ever consider re-watching. Sorry, but this one was a disappointment.
