It was just too hard to believe that that father would have two such different sons, especially with that American mother. Why would he be such a hippie? I found the American brother so obnoxious that I almost turned the movie off. It took too long to create any real sympathy for him. And for the Mexican brother to go back for the goat was just ridiculous. I did like Luis Gerardo Mendez's acting. I wouldn't recommend the movie, but it will probably be fairly popular with younger people because they don't know the film's formula yet.

It had sparsely funny moments, but overall I just found the characters annoying.

I felt that the film didn't click the way it was supposed to with either it's dramatic or comedic elements. It lacked any sense of urgency despite the element with the wedding.

The movie fell short of humor and didn't quite grab my interest. I watched the entire film, alas, my patience was not rewarded.
