It was different than I thought. It had much more heart. I liked it.

I Was lucky enough to catch an advanced screening of this and wasn't sure what to expect. However, it blew my expectations out of the water. This was the perfect time for this to come out. This movie has such a strong message. I was so ready to watch this and have fun and leave the theater making jokes. Once the title sequence hit it was apparent that this story was going to be heavier than that. It was really beautiful and frankly refreshing to watch a movie about being vulnerable and emotional with each other, to varying degrees of course.

The film was both thrilling and moving. It was a great adaptation of Stephen King's novel. The whole cast was incredible but would have to single out David Jonsson for putting on such a fantastic performance.

I enjoyed the movie. I haven’t had a movie evoke that much emotion from me in a really long time. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it shocked me, and the connections made with the characters allowed me to feel connected to them. The only thing I did not like was the ending. It felt abrupt and I didn’t get why after he shoots the major, he just walks away and it ends. Felt like I didn’t really get closure with the movie.
