Overall good but didn't really give an inside picture of what was going on in the character's head very much.\rIt just seemed unfinished.

The cinematography was certainly nice, though the lingering shots of the mountains got a bit repetitive after awhile.\r\rThe slow reveal of the backstory was the strongest aspect of the movie.\r\rI didn't feel particularly attached to any of the characters. If Edee had even the slightest bit of common sense I'd have found the story a bit more plausible. It felt like a middle age equivalent of "Into the Wild", but worse. Has Edee never heard of a hat? Why did the big, heavy jacket stay in a box for so long? \r\rMy wife thought the heartstring pulling (dead kids and such) was a bit heavy handed.

Interesting being shot in AB.

Great cinematography, great acting. Pace is little slow.
