It's a good action movie, great special effects and nice plot

Watch it for top not cast of Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, and Samuel L Jackson. Plot moved very fast with no character development. There were too many extra characters that got screen time but their scenes did not contribute to the overall plot.

Coming in with no expectations, Kong ended up as a mildly entertaining movie with great actors but a weak story line. It felt like at least five different writers didn't agree on the back story of the characters so all had their ideas written in. The action scenes were fun and exciting, and John C. Riley provided excellent comic relief, but otherwise, it was a waste of good talent on this movie.

I enjoyed watching it in the cinema.
