Pretty fun movie, great special effects. Samuel L Jackson and John C Reilly were great.

6 of 10 hammers. Another 'good' Kong movie. Man & animal themes too predictable. Didn't have to be in Imax.

Overall I thought Kong Skull Island was all that it needed to be. A simple fun movie. Unfortunately it is heavily weighed down as I mention by some of the worst editing I’ve seen in a while. As well with the odd use of music throughout the film. It is hard not to at least have a good time with this because the action and visuals are just that great.

"Kong: Skull Island" takes a different narrative on King Kong. The highlight for me was John C. Reilly's character Hank Harlow who offers plenty of comic relief.
