I enjoyed it greatly I love watching these kinda movies because I learn so much I had a good time loved the ending cried even and I don't cry thank you for the experience would definitely see more

Excellent story and depiction of how awful war is. Doss' story was well portrayed and felt authentic. Having not read any of the books about Doss and knowing Mel Gibson's desire for authenticity, I did not feel the hari kari scene added anything to the film. I will recommend the film to friends and family.

This was the greatest movie of the year thus far and my all time favorite war movie. Andrew Garfield did an amazing job portraying Corporal Doss. Hacksaw Ridge was a cinematic masterpiece.

Brilliant! Such a wonderfully done depiction of a beautiful heart wrenching story that really gives the audience a tiny glimpse of what it must have been like to have been there.
