It is a good revenge thriller flicker with feminism touch. Carey Mulligan just nailed it.

I would recommend it with qualifier that it is difficult material, difficult to watch. I avoid films with any kind of violence. This film has a great deal of violence of psychological nature.\rHowever, it is well done on many counts. It is well acted, \rwell staged, well-written, sends a message, has impact on the viewer, at least this one.

It was an interesting, if heavy-handed exploration of rape culture and date rape. I thought Carey Mulligan was great, but the rest of the cast didn't get a lot to do. I applaud the movie for tackling this subject, and I hope it inspires a long-needed conversation about male privilege. The main character Cassie, and her relationship with Nina, just needed more development to truly make the ending stick and earn its award season timing.

Slow starter...seemed like about revenge...then 180 became about Nina. Wasn’t a movie for us.\r\rDistracting having property of Focus on bottom, plus a number that left the middle to be off center...plus Focus on side. Know need to protect but must be a better way.
