It was very disturbing. Instead of plotting revenge she should have gotten therapy or joined a support group. She also could have simply turned the video over to the police. It would have been great for the ending to have shown how the guys got what they deserved for what they did to Nina instead of being arrested for killing Cassandra.

Promising Young Woman was a great idea that lacked the execution it deserved. I think that the story either needed to be more realistic and believable (character development of the male characters, more on Cassie's psych break, etc) or go fantastical (actually killing men that she trapped on her night's out). It felt like a weird in between compromise and therefore I didn't feel invested. The overall plot felt like three acts that didn't mesh well.
