Great action/effects, predictable story line

Great CGI esp. on Kong. The action was good and the story kept moving forward. The acting was so-so with a couple of roles that seemed out of place. Samuel L. Jackson brings the wrong type of intensity to a movie like this - it seemed better suited for a parody.Overall, worth watching in a cinema and it will be interesting to see where they take the Monsterverse series going forward.
