Well done, good cast, but they really glossed over the reasons why they held him in the first place- so I can’t tell how slanted it is. 100% factual?? Or dramatic liberties taken? But film wise - very well done, perfectly paced.

It’s hard to believe that the US government who claims to be the beacon of freedom for other countries does such actions like the one portrayed in this story. This is only one story, God knows how many more are there where their human rights were violated. I don’t understand why after winning his battle, he was kept for another 7 years. The man should be monetarily compensated for being kept against his will with no charges. Unbelievable! Thank you for sharing The Guantanamo Diary, I will look for the book too, great job by the actors
