Great movie

Loved this movie. A legal drama with hints of political thriller containing a captivating story and great acting by Jody Foster (probably her best work since Panic Room) and the outstanding performance by Tahar Rahim as the main character which is Oscar worthy. Raw and harrowing scenes and some that some viewers may find a little uncomfortable to watch, but nicely put together through very competent film editing that allows you to follow the narrative without feeling convoluted. Specially in a film that makes use of the flashback sequences to convey the story. I'd definitely recomend it. Thank you for the screening.

I thought it told the story well. I was able to connect with the characters.

I tend to focus on performances and I thought everyone was great, particularly Tahar Rahim and Benedict Cumberbatch. Years ago a movie like this would have changed people would have made people rethink, ask questions maybe change minds. But Americans are too entrenched now. Maybe again in another generation or two. I hope those generations get to see this.
