It didn't have a good script. It was a bit absurd and cliche in parts. Plus, the connection was not good and we couldn't see the last 22 minutes so don't know what happened, but guessed

The morality was off. So a person who was potentially contagious was able to get out. After all, he didn’t know u til the end that she was immune. Getting her out of LA was the goal regardless of how that action would endanger the community it had large. It was been said at one point that those that were immune could infect others. Yet they went to Big Sur which hadn’t seen any outbreaks in a while. Their very presence there had the potential of creating a whole new outbreak. I was very torn and disappointed by the lack or ability ethical compass just as Covid cases are surging in real life. This was too real and therefore too scary to process. My colleague also watched the movie and we had a short discussion afterward as she had a similar reaction . Also, please explain how the girl, who represented Simone from the working class, was able to afford that very large and very nice apartment. That just didn’t compute. As an Angeleno, I am very sensitive to cost of living. This was just so off it was almost laughable

There was no depth to the story the plot was lacking. It was basically a rescue love story. Couldn’t tell it was a Michael Bay film.

Terrible story line.
