There are just those movies that are done so well that it gives you that sense of joy, hope and a big smile. This is one of those films. From the opening rustic fishing scene with Emilia Jones powerfully singing with the blaring music on the boat, to the embarrassing humor, to the scenes displaying the emotional challenges of loving and pursuing your dreams, this film keeps you engaged.

Brilliant depiction of love, family, and the personal traits that make us special. Emotional evening for our entire family. We loved it so much! Expected a Hallmark movie and instead got a real, thoughtful movie that will stand the test of time.

Although it moves a little slow at times and has some suggestive materials, it is a really good movie with a great message about families and working together to resolve problems. I liked how they portrayed the deaf family as a family working together and not looking for a handout. I may have been cutting onions during a scene or two, I definitely wasn’t crying. Ha ha ha. Great moral to the story.
