Wow, great movie. The acting is top notch and the way the actors play off of each other is amazing. Emelia Jones is fantastic as the only hearing member of the family. The story does a fantastic job of showing some of the difficulties a CODA would have today.\r\rExcellent work too by the parents, I think Troy Kotsur did a great job as the father and the always amazing Marlee Matlin does a great job.

The storyline was good. The scene where the auditorium was silent while Ruby sang was profound. The two scenes where she sings to her dad and he feels through his hands had me in tears as well as the scene where she signs during her audition.
