Good story. Great visual effects showing details of how detainees were nterrogated. Good to see that there are layers and others that work to help people who are unjustly treated.

I don't know how to feel about this movie honestly. I never knew about this story or the diary before I saw this movie tonight. I believe in times of war and in history every country and every military power can always get carried away with making sure their side "wins" and finds all the intel they can, and maybe in this case it was taken too far. Or, ultimately the protagonist depicted in this movie was in fact so smart he realized he could get out of Gitmo by "making up his own believable story" (perhaps with the help of the US lawyer who volunteered to defend him), talk about coercion from a different angle. I'll always have my doubts about this story, but this movie was definitely an interesting watch and very well put together and communicated.

It was thought provoking and intense. Great performances all around.

The subject matter was enlightening. It is an absolute shame and disgrace the way we treat our fellow human beings at times.
