I gave it 4 stars because I am still tore on the ending. In one way, I wanted her to live and finally be set free. But, in another way I like how it became more of a realistic ending. She knew what she was getting into and knew this was going to happen. I do like how she still won, even in death. Either way, she was set free. I was just rooting for her to survive. Also, I love how you used an older actress and named the title Promising Young Woman. I like the idea that people are seeing that women who are in their 30's are still young. And your career doesn't end when you turn 30.

Surprise ending.

It had some interesting themes, although some of the dialogue was cliché. However, the performances elevated the film and were great. It was visually sumptuous! The soundtrack also accompanied the film well.

A little slow paced at times, but well written. Smart, snarky, and lots of twists. Love the little artist visual shots. Worth the watch.
