I felt it was too long, and at moments overdramatic and the audio soared too loud. The storywas good but overblown.

Loved Eddie but the storyline was contrived. It had moments but definitely a film for kids

I thought it was extremely boring unfortunately. I didn't feel like the characters did anything or revealed anything about themselves onscreen. Everyone was spoken about rather then shown to me. The editing seemed strange, disjointed, and choppy, like there wasn't enough coverage, and scenes would just end suddenly. There were languorous periods where nothing happened and nothing new was revealed. I remember a scene where the son character wakes up and cautiously walks downstairs very slowly to the kitchen, and then the scene ends. Daniel Day-Lewis delivered his monologues brilliantly though.
