Weird. Lots going on so plenty of drama. But it was weird.

Very slow and disjointed.

Slow with a story that didn't feel like it really went anywhere

I would have preferred it as a short film. It came off rather tone deaf to spend so much of the screentime reeling in a character who was on the wrong side of independence in the first place. Is the goal to redeem colonizing forces for the sake of internalized conflict in the second generation of beneficiaries? Truly, what about the people seeking independence? It just seems like a self indulgent take. I dont know who the target audience of this film is intended to be.
