Movie was just ok, had a slow start and the audience laughed through most of the first hour, which was very odd considering it is a war drama/ action film. The movie was at times very gory and seemed a bit action heavy. I noticed that after the prolonged and often grotesque action scenes people begin to grimace and some actually left. The one positive aspects of this movie was the costume design.

Movie was good. The back story was a little drawn out. The action scenes though...WOW! the whole audience jumped on one of them. Nice story about faith and perseverance. I would recommend this movie

Great performances, emotionally affecting and visceral, heavy-handed touches like slow-mo detract a bit, glorified violence sends a mixed message, still a powerful film, thumbs up.

The poor man's Saving Private Ryan.Bad casting and directing were the weak points.It's saving grace was the amazing story.
